BOIBOI’s ‘Online’ Collection invites supporters to explore a fictional world not dissimilar from our own, but featuring a clandestine government organization which is exercising control over technology and the internet at large. The B.I.T. (BOIBOI Institute of Technology) is concealed from the public, operating under complete secrecy while experimenting with technological innovations far beyond the public’s comprehension. To control and monitor the internet use of the public, the B.I.T introduced it’s own web browsing client in the early 2000’s, and released clothing as merchandise to promote the program.
